MULTIPLAST is a family-run company based in Schönberg in the Bavarian Forest and specializes in the extrusion of technical plastic profiles. For decades, we have been developing and producing solutions for customers worldwide – individually, reliably and with a clear understanding of the requirements of a wide range of industries.

What began as plastics processing with a clear vision has developed into a high-performance partner for industrial and high-tech applications. Today, we employ around 80 people and combine development, toolmaking, extrusion and machining under one roof.

Our plastic profiles are used in numerous fields – including the automotive industry, medical technology, and electrical and lighting technology. In addition, our solutions can be found in trains, laboratories, construction and a wide range of industrial applications worldwide.

Our particular strength lies in the combination of technical expertise and a high degree of flexibility. Thanks to our in-house toolmaking, we can respond quickly to new requirements and implement individual adaptations efficiently.

Our Development

With the relocation from the original site in Dettingen/Erms to today’s company headquarters in Schönberg, the course was set at an early stage.

This also applied to the processing of technical plastics and high-performance plastics. Expansions of production areas, the development of our machinery, investments in design, toolmaking and post-processing, as well as proactive new developments, continue to shape our path to this day.

This development reflects our ambition not to stand still, but to continue evolving – technologically, organizationally and as a company.

Founded in Dettingen/Erms, Baden-Württemberg, under the name KKU, Kunststoffverarbeitung K. Uekermann

1982

Relocation to the current site in Schönberg, Lower Bavaria

1994

Renamed Multiplast Kunststoffverarbeitung

1998

Change of owner and managing director; generational transition and foundation for further growth

2000

Confirmation of our quality standard through certification according to ISO 9001

2002

Expansion of the company premises

2004

Start of the joint venture with Elinar Plast in Russia and expansion of the machinery in Schönberg to 12 production lines

2007

Commissioning of two additional production lines to meet the growing order volume

2013

Expansion of the storage area and construction of a new building for toolmaking and the design department; commissioning of two additional production lines

2018

Inauguration of the second extrusion hall with 400 m² of production space and 750 m² of storage space; expansion of the machinery to 20 lines

2019

Purchase of an adjacent property with building for the spatial expansion of our machining department
